EV will:
- be publicly accessible at anytime to anyone with Internet access.
- be an authoritative and comprehensive reference work geared towards young learners, lifelong learners, and scholars.
- explore diverse perspectives and topics in order to present a multi-dimensional view of Virginia.
- use innovative Internet technology and design that merge clear navigation with sophisticated methods for the discovery of knowledge about Virginia.
- be a dynamic resource that provides an unexpected and refreshing approach to understanding Virginia history and culture and why that history and culture is important to us today.
