Virginia Festival of the Book |
We invite you and your colleagues to attend the annual Pre-Book Festival Press Conference for the 12th Virginia Festival of the Book. Meet the Festival organizers at the Best Western Cavalier Inn at the University of Virginia at 9:00 am on Wednesday, February 15, 2006. Take advantage of this informative opportunity to write stories before and during the Festival, March 22-26, 2006.
Robert Vaughan, President of the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities, which produces the Festival, will provide an overview of the Festival. In addition, you will meet the Festival organizers: Susan Coleman, Nancy Damon, and Kevin McFadden. Detailed information will be provided on the “who, what, and where” of the Festival, with specific information on authors and access to their photos. Learn about StoryFest—the day-long family event, Crime Wave, and Publishing Day, just to name a few of this year’s featured events. Cover the Book Festival before the opening ceremony.
Coffee and continental breakfast will be provided—plus great photo opportunities will be available. Find out why thousands visit our area during the five-day book celebration.
