About VFH Fellowships
Stipends & Sessions
- We provide a stipend up to $15,000 per semester; summer Fellows receive travel funds only.
- Our Fellowships are awarded for one semester or a full year.
- Apply by December 15, 2008 for residence in Fall 2009 or Spring 2010.
Housing
There are a number of short-term rental options in the area, in addition to faculty housing. You can live in town or beside a river, look out on mountains or small restaurants and urban life.
University of Virginia Faculty Status
All Fellows have University of Virginia faculty status while in residence. As visiting faculty, you will have access to:
- All University of Virginia research and recreational facilities
- On-site library delivery
- Departmental and University lecture series, events, and activities
- University faculty housing

About Charlottesville
