VFH: A Wise Investment
With corporate roots that reach back to the Colonial Era, Dominion has long been a leader among Virginia companies. Their corporate leadership extends to charitable giving as well, contributing more than $10 million annually to non-profit organizations in their service area.
A long-time supporter of the Virginia Festival of the Book, Dominion has recently announced a leadership gift that will benefit the Foundation's Encyclopedia Virginia. VFH gratefully acknowledges Dominion’s generous support.
Dominion is one of the nation's largest producers of energy. The company has a power generation portfolio of more than 28,100 megawatts and is one of the largest independent oil and natural gas exploration and production companies in North America. In addition, the company operates the nation's largest underground natural gas storage system and serves retail energy customers in nine states.
Corporate & Foundation Support
Corporations and Foundations support the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities each year with generous contributions, which empower VFH to provide public programs throughout Virginia and beyond. VFH staff work with corporations to create sponsorship packages which give them public exposure while being good corporate citizens.
Different VFH programs provide differing benefits which may range from website acknowledgement, mentions in publications, announcements at public events, or radio PSA’s, depending on the type of sponsorship.
Corporations and Foundations giving $5,000 or more annually to VFH are recognized in the Corporate & Foundation Gold Circle society.
